you say to others:                you shout down:
hey, come understand this!        hey, come up here!

You write the PR well,            You throw them a rope,
expending some effort             expending some effort
so they don't have to.            so they don't have to.

Or you don't,                     Or you don't,
and they're barely better off     and except for the aid of your tracks,
than solving it from scratch.     they're climbing it all over again.


Helping others is more pleasant and more efficient.
More efficient, because they don't have to repeat the work. (It's less work to help someone than to climb anew.)
More pleasant, because you are the only thing in your way. (It's less frustrating than someone else in your way.)
